Darcy Bakkegard
Co-Director for Winter Play (February 2024)
A former English & Theatre teacher, Darcy is the co-founder of The Educators' Lab and now works as a change consultant. She creates, teaches, and hosts professional development for teachers, driving change in education and empowering teachers as changemakers. She has served as the Director of Theatre at Baldwin-Woodville School District, Baldwin, WI; Robert College, Istanbul, Turkey; and West Fargo High School and occasionally directs at Theatre B in Moorhead, MN. In addition to subbing and doing workshops for teachers, she stays busy with her 4-year-old triplets: Kurt, Ben, and Cora.

Mary Gorman
Co-Director for Winter Play (February 2024)
Mary Gorman is an English and Theatre teacher at West Fargo High School. She holds a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts and Literature Education from Moorhead State University of Moorhead and has spent the past two years directing theatre and teaching English at Jamestown's middle and high schools. She is beyond excited to be an addition to the English and Theatre programs at WFPS. Aside from being a literature, writing, and theatre nerd, she spends her time making and selling art and cuddling her two cats, Jasper and Boo.
