Football will start August 6, 2026 at 7:15am at the WFHS Essentia Stadium.
Players please meet in the THEATER AT & 7:15am on 8/6!
Parent meeting: 8/4 at 5:45pm in WFHS Commons.

Please make sure your athlete is registered and has a current Physical Eligibility Form uploaded (page 5). Paper copies of physicals WILL NOT BE accepted! Your athlete may not be allowed to participate until they are registered and cleared to participate by the Athletic Trainers.

Participation fees must be paid prior to the first contest. You can pay as part of the Arbiter Registration or cash/check brought into the Activities Office. If you have concerns regarding paying the activity fee, please reach out to the Activities Office.

Head Coach
Eric Peterson
Coach Eric Peterson is entering his first season as head coach of the Packers.
Prior to West Fargo High School, Peterson was an assistant for Fargo Davies High School from 2018-2025. During his time with the Eagles, he helped the football team win 2 EDC championships along with coaching in two straight state championship games as defensive coordinator, winning one in 2025.
Coach Peterson is a native of Fargo, ND. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport marketing and administration from Northern State University where he also played football for the Wolves. In addition, he has a master’s degree in leadership education from Winona State University. Coach Peterson will teach Special Education at West Fargo High School. He and his wife, Taylor, have two children -- Parker and Eloise.
