Mindy Byram

In case you’re curious, here’s what you might want to know about Ms. Byram.  I was raised in North Dakota and graduated from Fargo South High School.  I attended MSUM, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Language Arts.  I have also lived and taught in Phoenix, AZ; Austin and Dallas, TX.  We moved back home after the birth of my son, who is now fourteen years old and in 8th grade this year. We have a 5 year old Great Golden Dane and 2 Hermit crabs. 

This is my fourteenth year at WFHS, but this will be year 20 total.  In my free time, I spend it with family/ friends, playing BINGO, working on projects around the house, riding bike, going to the lake, and of course reading. 

What I love best about WFHS are my amazing coworkers and students that make my love for teaching continue as well as grow.  Those who know me would describe me as passionate, entertaining, caring, kind, unique, positive, and enthusiastic.  Ninth grade is my favorite subject to teach as I love the curriculum!  I am a HUGE fan of short stories, Mythology, and most importantly Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare!!
